Scott Adams has done a survey of economists, which show most believe the Democrats would better handle the economy.

He points out that the majority are in fact democrat, and that most (but not all) who vote Democrat believe that Democrats would be better, and vice-versa for Republican.

This is being widely misinterpretted in the comments, who say, "academics always vote Democrat so all this shows is people vote to type".

I think of it another way.  Why, if all your education and learning showed you it would be better for the economy to vote Democrat, would you then turn around and vote Republican?

It is currently making my blood boil, but I'm sure this Post will be obvious to everyone who reads it.  I just wish it was made clearer in the original post by Scott Adams...

Anyway, in much much much better news: Eoin Colfer is going to write the next Hitchhikers' guide to the Galaxy book.  Hoorah!

Oh, and HBO have exercised their option to make A Song of Ice and Fire.

I am cheering up now.
